Hi all,

Before I take it to the garage, i wondered if anyone has a tip or two! The windscreen washers on my 2007 Vectra 1.9 CDTI 150 XP have suddenly stopped firing water. The pump seems to be ok, or it certainly sounds as though it is, but just a trickle comes out (i have filled the bottle!).

Has anyone had the same problem or have any ideas i can try?

Seems that the filter on the pump is yet another great invention that gets clogged and stops the entire thing functioning! I have needled the jets too for good measure and it seems to have done the trick!

have you tried clearing jets by using a small needle or similar? also there may be a filter in bottle where pump fits to bottle,its usually only a push fit and the seal is also the filter.
