white knight 44AW drum will not start ?

Drum will not start on its own but will with a light push one finger does it then it completes the timed cycle. The motor works without the drum belt on it, could it be the brushes on the motor, or will it need a new motor. My thanks in advance for any help.

no brushes require. No motor required. What you need is a new start capacitor which attaches electrically to the motor.these get weak and cause your issue.easy swap and repair
