I had to re-new the lenghth of wiring on one of my Ventcroft sounders due to a loss of resistance on most of the cores,whic put my menvier TS - 5000 into tamper.
I removed all wiring from the panel and documented the terminations for re- installation but I have lost-misplaced my reference,stupid I know.
Have any of the lads on here worked with such equipment?,
can anyone inform me of the correct terminations?,
I would be grateful for any diagrams etc,

Tommy have a look at both sounder's and tell us if either are jumpered for sab or scb.

This info tells us how they were wired previously.

The jumpers will be on the pcb if not look for a cut link.

I'm thinking one is running scb,the other sab ?.Do check and post back. :)

I did think it was either a ts 500/510.

And yes as I thought parallel wiring apart from two cores RTN on primary sounder and HOLD OFF - on secondary,the rest can be doubled up at the panels sounder terminals.

Alarm have you a less complicated way to describe to op on here?.

Sorry lads the panel is a ts 500 and the ventcrofts both have 6 core wiring back to the panel.
The terminals on the sounders are str- ,hold off -,hold off +,rtn-,trig-,hope that helps.

What are the terminals on the sounder's.

I know the panel,ideally both should be wired parallel at the panel.

Are both sounder's using independent six core wiring now or is one using only four cores?.
