Battery Charging?

I have had my Binatone Fusion 2815 Digital Cordless Phone with Answer Machine on Charge mode for over 24 hours now and still the battery symbol is flashing, which according to the user guide should only take 15 hours to fully charge. Can you please offer me help with this ?
