Water were the spark plugs are?? And running high revs when engine in warm?

Hi peeps
My mk5 2000 1.6 zetec s started juddering so I changed the coil pack but was fine for about a week started doing it again I pulled out one of the ht leads and noticed water in there I soaked as much as I could up started the engine and it was running fine I took it out for a spin it seemed okay but was running high revs I also noticed the water was running out I toped it back up and left the car. I stared it the next day and left it running for a while tured it off done the same the water had come back??? And still runs high revs?? Any ideals on what it could bee???

My daughter had a similar problem with her Zetec engine. A core plug had failed in the cylinder head. Cured it with "liquid metal" repair to save taking off the head.

You couldn't see the problem until the engine got hot and water sprayed out of a tiny gap under pressure.

Are you saying you have a coolant leak which is soaking your coil pack/plugs/leads?You will have to source and repair the leak first and try some wd40 to displace the moisture round about the coil pack/plugs/leads and give it a go.
