Hi,

I have an Accenta 8 mini alarm installed in my home which I have rarely used since I bought the property.

It has started to bleep around every 45 seconds and I cannot get it to stop - Its driving me insane.

I assume its a battery or service warning bleep. Does anyone know how to get it to stop??? - the manual is worse than useless!

When I cut the power the bleep is still there and when the power is re-instated the alarm trips so the battery appears to be working.

Any help much appreciated.

And there's nothing else in the cupboard boxes bags that sort of thing?.

Definitely not a smoke detector. The only other thing in the cupboard is the electricity and gas meters but it definitely sounds more like its coming from the Alarms CPU box.

I dont have any pre pay meters so wouldnt expect them to beep.

Well if the keypad has no zone's lit or a flashing or lit tamper light, then I'd check your smoke detector?.

I've never heard of an accenta acting as you describe,but that don't rule out a duff battery either.

Check your smokes or c'mox detectors.
