how do take out battery?

My alarm system has been buggered by constant power cuts in my area as a result I can't afford to keep replacing the battery so its not actually working.....but the box outside keeps going off every time the power goes off.I need to turn the box off outside I've been told to cut the wire which runs from the battery......please help.

Most panels will take a bigger battery.

You give no make of panel or battery Ah rating fitted at present,so can't really advise other than agree with all gts has said.

I'm thinking bigger battery if your panel will accept one.

do not cut any wires, the sab in bell box will sound for about 2 or 3 hours at a reduced level then it will die, when power restored it will charge up bell box battery and panel battery you have nothing to worry about,if your neibours alarm system are up to standard then they be going off too ,happy new year to you and your family

you don't need to replace the battery

listen sue,if I may be so forward to address you by your first name, your alarm is mains powered if power fails the battery takes over,by law it must power your system for 8 hours, after that the bell box will power up and sound, till the sab module runs out, when the power comes back on ,the battery will recharge

It was the man who replaced the battery for me believe it or not.
Thank you but I'm still stuck in what to do.

you don't keep replacing the battery,as long as you fit new one it will recharge when the power comes back on they last between 3 and 5 years do not heed what ever idiot told you to cut any wires
