servowarm elite 50 boiler heating radiators ok but not hot water if I turn on water only the boiler makes a hell of a noise and cuts out, help

Hi, sounds like a lack of water entering the boiler. Check to see if there is water in the header tank, if there is one, it will be the smaller one in the roof space. Check that the ball valve is working. Tank only has to have a few inches of water in it to give a small pressure to the system, to allow expansion when heating is on.
