how to diagnose fault hotpoint aquarious fdw60?

my hotpoint aquarious fdw60 has suddenly developed a fault it doesnt seem to be pumping water thru the spray jets on start up its boiling the water it will empty but not wash or pump water as it should,i am guessing because it empties that it has two pumps and my suspicion is that the pump that sprays the water is at fault, would appreciate any feedback or information
