Siemens condenser dryer flashes F06 after running for 2 -3 mins. all filters cleaned, but thermostat won't click to reset. How do I check it, and do I need to replace?

If you have found the thermostat with the red button on it and it does not click then it has not tripped out, this stat rarely goes wrong. F06 code refers to not heating, it is usually this stat but obviously not in this case so could be a faulty heater or temp control stat or pcb you would need test meters and service knowledge to diagnose.
