How can I fix my citroen c8 automatic gearbox?

I bought a used citroen c8 exlusive in Dec. 2013. The gear failed after delivery. I replaced it and after 506km, the replaced gearbox failed again. The fibre was burnt. The gearbox is now overhauled by a mechanic, but the car can't pick speed upto 20km/h. What can I do?
