Interesting to read about all the wing mirrors breaking on Vauxhall cars. Within the past 13 months I have had 3 broken wing mirrors on my Vauxhall Meriva. First time the driver's side mirror shattered as I was driving along late at night. A short time later the other one fell out and smashed as my husband closed the passenger door. Then a fortnight ago the driver's side mirror fell off whilst parked. I found it when returning to the car.
It has cost me over £30 a time to have them replaced. Fed up with it! It seriously must be a fault. Could you please advise me how to prevent this happening again?
