I recently replaced the drive belt on my tumble dryer. A fiddly job because you have to disconnect the wires to the power switch, the timer and heat setting. I marked all the wires before removing them but later noticed the timer has a set of numbers on each connection I.e. 1 to 10 plus 19? Has anyone re wired one of these machines? Before I reconnect everything I want to make sure everything is in the right place. I contacted Hotpoint Creda for a wiring diagram and they won't supply one, but will send an engineer out to fix - what a con! The job is hardly rocket science. Just a shame they make the job of replacing the drive belt such an onerous task!
