How do I safely change the element in my Hygena APL 3317?

The fan continues to work on my oven therefore the electric supply is still working but the oven doesn't get hot. I have been advised that I need a new element. Is this correct? If so, how do I safely change the element in my Hygena APL 3317?

Hi Steve,

Yes, it sounds like your fan oven element has gone. They are accessed from inside the oven. Power off first, then remove the rear cover from inside the cooker. This will reveal the fan and element. The element is normally held in place by 2/3 screws. The 2 wires will connect to the element and sometimes an earth wire. Just note their positions and remove. A replacement element can be purchased from us:

Any Q's let me know.
