Key Pad Sounder Alarm?

The READY, POWER and ALARM lights all remained on except the ALARM light went off when I disarmed the system.

How do I exit the log after entering *90 ?

Mystery solved! When the facts continue to not make sense, it is time to look outside of the box. I removed the backup battery and a/c power to the alarm system and the keypad "sounder" again went off at 6:00am. Turns out, when I placed a wireless weather stations (Weatherboy) on a shelf next to the keypad to monitor the temperature in the attic, the Weatherboy's alarm clock was accidently set.
Not only does the Weatherboy's alarm sound just like the keypad, it has the exact same cadence of multiple beeps that keep getting faster just like the exit sequence when setting the house alarm and it last for 1 minute. The Weatherboy is currently missing in action as it was last seen flying out the window.

I also think it's a battery issue too.

On last thing if I may..is the system fitted with a wireless zone expander module?,as it could also be a low battery in that.

My appologies for confusing you,I did not have the LCD rkp book at that time and Alarms advice was spot on regarding the logs.

# key to exit :D

Get back to us if you can,we think it is a battery.

Thanks for the help and suggestions. In reviewing the logs, no problems were recorded, just standard arming and disarming events. Even while the keypad sounder was beeping, the LCD display showed system ready! I plan to call in an expert on Monday. regards and thanks again for the info.

As said Jim read the system memory or logs as we call them and see if any faults notifications have been recorded.

Usually it's something like a low battery somewhere on the system.

Have a look through the manual regarding the system memory and also on how to perform a system test.

LCD keypads will tell you so much more than the LED ones.

3rd morning in row key pad sounder went off. LCD display showed "System Ready". Ready and Power LED lights on, system not armed. Only key pad in bedroom sounded, not key pad in kitchen. Sound was continuous beeping for about 1 minute. Thanks for the manual.
