Hi, My "spanner" warning light comes on when I start the car from cold, but goes off after 2 minutes. Acceleration slightly lumpy in that time. Cleaned out the MAP sensor a little while ago, and have checked connections and vacuum pipes. Light doesnt come on if the car is warm.

Hi, I posted this question. I got the codes - glo-plugs and MAP sensor. Turned out to be the glo plugs. Not a difficult job, except the caps are hard to get off.The sensor code was an old one from previous fault - the sensor tends to gum up with a black greasy stuff. Just needs a good clean, and it worked fine.

Check your injectors aren't bubbling, this is a common fault, if they are replace them.
