how to fix a Zanussi XC Jet system 1600?

I have a Zanussi XC Jet system 1600 washer dryer which has been perfect until I moved it and it fell over.
I do not need it as a washing machine and have plugged it in without the water supply connected.I only need it as a dryer. When I set the dryer to come on the drum spun for about two minutes , the programme clock did not move and an error message came up. The clothes were as damp as I had put them in.
What could be the problem and how to I get inside to fix it?
Thanks

Hello CK.
I thought I had fixed it as you suggested. What I did was turn it on without clothes in and set it to work.It was spinning and getting warm. I then put clothes in and set it but they came out soaking wet. There did not appear to be an error code. Just a lot of lights flashing.
Any suggestions please?

Thanks very much for this. I have fixed it, as you
say it needed to be connected to the water

Thanks CK I will try that.
