cant get numbers to print on reciept?

this cash register was working well . yet as normal i can no longer get it to print out any kind of receipt. numbers just dont show like roller isn't going to the left all the way 500dx

The printers give trouble as they age. Usually time to throw the machine as it can be 50 percent of the cost of the machine (or more) to replace the printer.
