Sharp Cash register ex-a206?

I have a Sharp XE-A206 Cash register. It is locked up with an E32 code followed by all zeros and it won't clear. I looked up E32 in the manual, but it said I needed to assign a clerk number. Any ideas?

You just enter your clerk log-on number (PIN) and then press the clerk button. Almost all registers need a sign on so they can log transactions under an operator. Someone has signed out of your machine so it is waiting for the next sign on. If you have lost the PIN numbers, you need to program new ones. This is covered under clerk programming in the book
