Hello all experts,
On re-entering the house the alarm goes off immediately showing zone two at the keypad,can't understand why as it arms ok on exiting?.
The alarm has recently been serviced inc new battery and new exterior belle so do you think it is a program fault or the end of life for the accenta?.Have the codes but not the program plans so if you would help please that would be great.

Open old, causing a tamper (Hopefully). Fit new. Enter code, Enter code again to set (And test) Job done.

Why wait till Monday,get to B&Q :)

Just shut the system down by isolation of mains power then disconnect battery.

Exterior sounder should sound but just have everything to hand for a speedy change.

Could also inform the neighbours of your intentions so they know what's going on.

Can't tell you on here how to stop the bells but yeh tell the neighbours and let it ring.

Obviously use a bit of common sense and do it at a sensible hour :D.

Thanks but replacing mine with one of those would require joinery skills plus tools i do not have,mine are the traditional surface mount type.
I will buy some from an electrical store i know of on Monday.
Was hopeing for details on what to do with the alarm but thanks for the info supplied so far,many thanks.
This walk test is mentioned in my user instructions,so i gave it a go last night and had all zones apart from zone 1 showing following the test,so thanks for that.
And yes i did believe you guys but it kind of made sense to try.

remove the two screws that hold the contact in place,take note of where the wires go,you will find two plated screws,and two brass screws,with two wires on them,re placelike for like,a two minute job,

Thanks ever so much i knew i had come to the right place for help as recommended by my sis Clare who says thanks by the way.
Tapping the door contacts changed nothing i am afraid,so just need a little guidance on how to replace please.

Door contact stuck.
Needs a good tap or really replacing.

Typical symptoms. You go out fine, the PIR in the hall
on Zone two gets you on way in.
