safety cut out on Beko DRCS68w?

Hi can anyone tell me where the thermostat reset is on a beko drcs68w . i have a red knobbly bit on the thermostat but it cant be pressed down and my dryer is still not heating .
P.s this is a new heating element.

heater /thermostat got a cut out switch? mines has a red button type thing on the thermostat but you cant press it down at all . getting fed up ..Many thanks

you need to test the continuity with a multimeter to test the stat isn't open circuit.one thing I will say is the heater connector can be connected either way around to the dryer connector plug.Had many connected wrong way by customers over the years.just worth checking
