There is a "hidden" manufacturer screw licated underneath the serialized label under the bottom center. You must puncture the label to access the hole with the main screw holding both halves of the casing together as well as the 4 other screws on the bottom. Once the center screw is out it comes apart quite easily. Got mine apart but the problem was one of the plastic gear's teeth had been grinded completely down so unless I can find a new replacement part for the gear, it's a goner.
