My Bernina 1006 suddenly sews backwards, all controls dials are in correct position. Nothing wrong at first glance with the button hole mechanism. It happened after I laid down the machine to inspect the moving of the hook. I have a rep manual but I'm not sure where to start. Any help appreciated, Thanks

Thank you for the answer, it look like I need some dowels to do that job and I will have to get first the tools. I am still not very clear about how this could have happened. Nothing ist stuck on the maschine, juste the dow movement is inversed. cam drive for feeddog changed position,or could also something stuck at dog to prevent feeddog moving correctly,only way is to open and move cam manually to see if it will stay there
