AEG 88840 update?

Water leaking from drum input shaft down onto the base tripping the float switch and giving the fault code C3, how do I remove the pulley wheel that drives the drum it has a Allen screw in the centre is the thread clockwise or anticlockwise ( ie lefthand thread )

If you have water coming out of the drum shaft then the shaft seal inside the drum is faulty you wont reach it by just removing the pulley, you will need to split the tank and remove the drum. Anyway to answer your question i have only ever found the pulley retaining bolts to be right hand thread eg "normal type of thread". But the bolts are quite often coated with a Loctite solution to prevent them coming loose and can be B........ (difficult to remove)
