Help me figure out what is wrong with my Hotpoint VTD65A Tumble dryer???

Basically it works apart from Heating Up, and displays either the error code F-08 or F-10. Hotpoint just want me to pay £150 quid for an engineer but i'm guessing its probably a simple enough procedure if you know what ur looking for??

maybe the themostat that is the usual cause of no heat as mine has just gone will cost u about £25 to buy

I have the same model and the same problem. My machine is just 12 months old now and hotpoint want my receipt of purchase before they will fix it, or £90 to fix the problem.
