hoover ac 120(performa 1200)washing machine keeps tripping the power ?

I've tried replacing the motor brushes as they were worn thinking this would solve the problem but machine keeps tripping the electricity,i've worked through the heater, valves etc & disconnected all the componants in turn but still the power trips-I even tried another control/timer unit & still trips the power.I know something is at fault but I just can't fathom it out...what can it be? help please

Steve this is a dificult one to sort out when I'm not at the machine. I would suspect the heater element, but you say that you disconnected ALL ?
Did this problem cause you to change the motor brushes in the first place ?
does the `trip` happen as soon as you switch on the machine, or a few some time later ? The first activity will be letting the water into the soap draw and drum, when the drum has the water level correct level it will then switch to another cylce that's to rurn the drum. You need to stand near the machine to see and hear water valves open and close at the correct level, then listen if the morot moves or tries too. Let me know more.
