When the machine is loaded the machine immediately trips the mains 30mA trip. I have emptied the machine and it works fine, but as soon as loaded it happens again. It had recently prior to this developed a knocking when on full spin.

I have checked the brushes they are not too worn. Checked pump, this is OK.

Any ideas

sounds like the drum has worn a wire through to me ok when no weight but when the drum drops it touching somewhere
