I've checked the belt and it's fine, but can't get the powerhead to turn on - no light, no roller. Ideas?

same problem as the person above..power head roller and lght won/t turn on... in the process of vacuuming I moved from one location to another plugged it in..vacuum runs but can't get the roller or light to come on... very frustrating as the vacuum is only 6 months old .....suggestions

Have you tried the reset switch? Also check all electrical connections from powermate all the way up to the handle, and the connections of the hose going into the canister. If you have the telescoping wand, chances are the fuse link inside may have opened up. If you need any more help, our email is arctic@worldlynx.net.
