I took the panel off the front at the bottom but there is no cap there to come off so you can see if there is something stuck. Help, where is this?

To retrieve the wire 3 chances. If you are lucky you might be able to see the end of it poking through a hole or in the gap of the rubber at the front then pull it, next idea remove the hose from the bottom of the drum and try to manipulate the wire towards the hole, last chance remove the heating element and fish out the wire through the element hole.
