Difficult to give advice here without seeing the clock as if it is wrong there will be a bang and the clock will be destroyed. However if you can understand electrical symbols there should be a label on the new clock showing a transformer symbol and relay symbol.. the mains will go on the transformer terminals and a live and oven switch lead will go on the relay. Don't attempt unless you are sure.
