How can I fix my indesit idl40 dishwasher?

I kept finding big puddles on my kitchen floor a couple of days after using my dishwasher , eventually I discovered that the bottom of the washer was full of water and leaking out , I've cleared all the water out with a cup and dried it and did not use it but after a couple of days it was full of water again so I've pulled it out and turned the tap off on the pipe which has slowed it down but now after 4 days it is full of water again !! Very confused as to where the water is coming from ?

P.S. Just noticed you said you turned the water tap to machine off but still fills but slower, if the water is clean then it is as i said on previous post, it means also that your tap is not sealing tight as well. Only other way water can get into machine when it is off is if the drain hose is connected to the sink waste and the sink water is backflushing into the machine but then the water would be dirty. Cheers

In that case it is filling up with fresh water when not in use so the water inlet valve is not sealing so you need to replace the valve Cheers

Hi it is full inside the machine !

Do you mean it was full inside the machine or water was in the plastic base where all the workings are?
