Sounds like the dryer thinks the drum is empty or clothes are dry when they are not. The machine operates on sensors which check the wetness of the load by the electrical conductivity in the load. e.g. wet clothes conduct ,dry clothes or no clothes do not. It would follow that your sensor system is not working correctly, unplug machine ,check in the top and there should be a plastic spring loaded arm that holds 2 carbon brushes to rub against the drum. Check the brushes are not worn out and are contacting the drum and that the wires to them are not broken, come back if not that, and I will give other causes. Cheers
