power supply and relay?

hi there i want to add a second bell box to my alarm so i have an additional power supply, reading alot of forums i realise that you need a relay for the bell and strobe triggers, forgive me for being naive but what would happen if i just jointed the triggers from the panel cable without the relay? i would obvously link the negative from the psu to the panel, but what would happen if i didn't use the relay for the triggers, thanks

e manno,i took a look at a yale ,wont call it an alarm system, today,i removed the one fixing screw on the bell box,it went off, but, not reg on the control panel also the wires of the sounder are open,i.e.you just pull or cut the speaker wires, they are exposed ,what a bit of trash ,powered by 4 "d" torch batteries, only looked at it coz was for a friend, terrible my friend what some people buy to protect their home, they called yale who told them we don't have engineers in Scotland to fix your system ,they not tell them that when they took her money

Yale suck all the way in my opinion but they have made my job easier over the years with over 90% used throughout the UK.

Very easy to pick and even their best padlocks can be shimmed, want a good security lock then go for any from schlarge or weiser.

Like anything you get what you pay for :)

yale make locks,(not very good ones )but they suck their so called alrm systems,my cat could defeat them ,:-),no pro would touch them, cept to rip them out !

yeah the 9600 is great and high quality but old, alot better than that diy wireless crap from b and q, thanks and goodnight

calum, March 2014
most high quality panels will handle two bell boxes mate, you get what you pay for ,and if you now how to wire them ,we on this site do not use cheap trash

gts, March 2014
also im interested

calum, March 2014
i was unsure with the load as most panels dont seem to handle 2 bellboxes, the 9600 can after reading about about its a great system and im lucky to have it, thats all i was saying

calum, March 2014
If it was easy for you.
Why all the questions?

Alarm, March 2014
oh the job is easy, i was just implying how great the 9600 as ive discovered

calum, March 2014

calum, March 2014
scantronic panels are very popular coz their very reliable and easy to fit,and the 9600 will run two sounders as e manno said, simple matter of wiring them up prop

gts, March 2014
the 9600 seems to be very popular on here

calum, March 2014

gts, March 2014
