Response SL3 - Code changed?

My wife seems to have accidentally changed the User Access Code of our Response SL3 alarm system.

I seem to be stuck now. I can't change the code without knowing the current one. I can't put the unit into Test Mode to reprogramme it.

I do have the remote control key which is still working. Can this help?

If anyone could outline the steps I need to do to change the User Access Code I'd be very grateful.

Maybe the disarm button on the remote fob will cancel out the tamper alarm.

Just a thought as we don't use response.

How do you take the panel apart to do the factory reset without the tamper alarm sounding? Normally you'd put the system into Test Mode before taking the lid off.

You have to default the panel and reprogramme it from scratch. If you have the manual it is all in there.
If not a quick search will find it and give all the relevant information.

Ever thought of getting a real system?
