My tefal express steam generator iron has suddenly started releasing steam continuously. It isn't the button on the handle as this was replaced recently.

Fixed it myself this morning, 50/50 of water and white vinegar filled the water tank and left for 1hr, then switched the iron on and after about 2mins of it steaming with out using the steam button it stopped. Then I used the steam until the tank was empty filled it up with tap water and again steamed until the tank was empty, working perfectly now.
