our engine management light has come on but we have not lost any power and theres no smoke on our xsara picasso 1.6 hdi weve got 3 months warranty then were on our own any sugestions

Your computer has detected a fault and it will need to go onto a code reader to determine what it is,may be something irrelevant and minor but there is no way knowing until this is done,if there is work needing done then advise to get it seen to sooner rather than later,good luck
