My temp gauge seems to be faulty on my 307 petrol..my water levels are staying the same tho..does this just mean the temp sensor has gone?

with modern motors often the best way forward is to get it onto a suitable computer and guages/lights etc can be operated manually through the keyboard for correct diagnosis and operation,the down side though is it costs money to do this,no other way though! You can guess all you want as to what is wrong but can guarantee you can end up paying a fortune in the long run.
