where is the anti flood sponge on zanussi ds10 dishwasher?

My ds10 dishwasher got flooded and I understand that the ds10 has a sponge that expands and stops the dishwasher from starting. does anyone know where this sponge is in the machine and how to replace it please.

you are correct rich, its normally at the floor panel of your dishwasher and almost always a plastic or polystyrene pad with a rod connected to a micro or cut off swith, you cant miss it if you open the side panel of dishwasher

Don't know have no idea! But I had a bench top dishwasher that burst a pipe and stopped, it had a polystyrene pad that floated up and tripped the switch when water got where it shouldn't. There is the key, water will flood the bottom tray allowing the "float/sponge" to expand/rise and cut off the supply, try to raise the machine VERTICLY you may need help and see if there is water lying in the bottom of the machine(it will end up there)then look upwards into it and see if a pipe has split or come undone.
