How can I fix my samsung American fridge/freezer rsa1dhmh?

I brought secondhand samsung American fridge/freezer model no:RSA1DHMH 2008 model, it turns on but the display on the door for the temperature keeps flashing and then beeping. The temperature keeps getting higher and won't stay on the settings we set.
