What is the matter? On start up I get a message on the multi screen 'braking fault' and a high pitched beeping. When a diagnostic computer is attached there are no fault codes to show so the garage doesn't know what to replace. No other warning lights or messages appear. This problem started after the ignition barrel failed but that problem was sorted.

Is the workshop using a code reader or has it access to the proper Peugeot Diagbox computer?
