COMM2000 unit at fault. Probably swarf inside it from years of wear. Either replace it with a new one (which will cost several hundred pounds) or have a go at repairing it and cleaning it out yourself.
Be brave and repair it yourself Eddie. It's usually a build up of metal swarf due to wear over the years. There's a "how to" here:-
