vauxhall combo 1.3 tdi?

had a new turbo fixed last sep and a small L shaped looks like stainless steel pipe wich broke on the weld seven months on the same L shape pipe has done the same thing is this a fault on the turbo and can anybody help

I think this is the oil drain back to the sump pipe you are on about and connects onto the block with two torx 30 bolts and two 10mm bolts onto the turbo,not had much bother with them but they are fragile,thin stainless steel and have had a couple with stress fractures,probably due to heat and vibration,ideally it would be best to remove the turbo to gain access to bolts etc and it may be worthwhile removing the radiator and front end for access but is possible without doing that but the two torx bolts are a bit awkward onto the block,good luck.
