i have anissan almera tino 1.8 petrol, the mil light is on and reading crankshaft circuit fault. I have changed sensor and wiring has no breaks , any ideas

Most of the alarm sensors are triggered on and the alarm won't clear just by correcting the fault. You must connect the main controll box/computer to a service computer to reset those.

The sensor may be OK and may be detecting a real fault, possibly a mechanical one. It can be as trivial as a clogged oil conduit to a crank shaft that is about to break appart.
