how do i fix my kawasaki vulcan 1500?

My vulcan starts, runs, idles, etc... but when i engage a gear, with or without the clutch, nothing happens! It seems the gearbox is almost nonexistant, or somehow detatched from the engine. How do i fix this? Please help me, havent ridden in months! Thanks!

if it wasn't broken when you parked it up months ago, it could be the clutch pushrod is seized or damaged in some way in the 'clutch in' position, bit unusual though as it's covered in oil normally and are left in the 'clutch out' position, check out the cable down to the operating arm at the casing first, good luck.
