Check Emissions Faults?

I have a Renault Laguna 1.9 Dci.

The check injector warning came on. Lot's of white smoke out of the exhaust and now in limp mode.

Any ideas without going to the expense of being put on a machine that so far all research suggests can't tell the problem.

It is impossible on modern motors to fault find without getting it onto a computer in relation to your management light,white smoke suggests internal engine problems and burning coolant.
