Do you mean the colours of the windows, or the colours of some/all images?
In the first case, on a Windows system, right-click the desktop and sellect: Personalise.
Click the colour block that reads: Windows color (or possiblu colour in the UK)
Sellect one of the colour clock and use the slider to set the saturation level.
You may instead use the colour mixer that offers 3 cursors that allow you to sellect the hue, brightness and saturation of the colour.
If you have problems with the images displayed, first check if the image(s) is not altered to look that way. Switching the colour channels can lead to some weird images as well as displaying a negative image.
In this case, it may be an harmless prank.
If ALL images, ALL icons and the windows borders and content all show the same abnomaly, then, you may have some problem with the video. It may be a faulty monitor/screen, a loose or bad contact, a broken whire, faulty video component or some problem with the video drivers.
Try updating your video drivers. Easiest and free step.
Next, this require opening the case, check for loose video connector. Have a VERY good lighting and use a large self standing magnifier glass as the component are rather small.
The monitor can be changed, and any required ribon connector should come with a replacement monitor, but the video card of a laptop just can't be replaced as it's integrated into the motherboard.
