I have a fault on my astra enjoy 1.4 16 valve it has an intermittant cutting out fault until warm at tickover at road juctions but restarts straight away1 I believe this is due to egr valve being removed and blanking plate fitted I want to refit egr valve but connot find any of the original wirjing for it there is no plugs wiring is there any chance an egr valve was not fitted on this model? anyone help?

would of had an egr from new so there should be a black 4 or 5 way plug present. have blanked valves off myself with no problems. you can get good info from the Vaux sites such as MIG web etc. expensive new, a visit to a scrappy can save a fortune but clean it out properly before fitting.
