I have just replaced the heating element having first removed the fan to get at a retaining screw. I have misplaced (lost!) the left handed thread retaining nut for the fan. Does anyone know the thread size so I can source a replacement? Better still,does anyone have one for sale?

To be technically correct the nut takes a 10mm spanner but it is a 6mm left hand thread.

It is a special left hand thread nut you won't be able to buy it in any shops. Knowing the impossible situation you are in I have searched my van and found one. I can send it to you but it means you will have to post your address on this site or you could post your mobile no and we can text to get your address, but for security you may want to do this but the option is there.
