How do I go about replacing the bearings in my zanussi nexus fl1282. ?

Mark, I have the same machine with the same problem. How did you get it apart? It looks like you have to do it all from the top as there is no inspection hatch and the back does not just come away like on most?

Thanks Phil, you charge sounds a hell of a lot more reasonable that resonable than what I was quoted which made going out and getting a new machine seam like a reasonable option... if I had the money that is.
Ive done this job before on the same machine but it was a few years ago and I had lost the instructions I had before, not being able to find any on the web I asked here.
That said I have the machine apart now with the bearings removed. Im just waiting for a new set to turn up in the post. The only thing that I have found tricky is supporting the drum assembly while trying to release the springs that hold it in place, some bricks and a jack sorted this. Any way thanks again

hi we charge £89 to do this job its not recomended you try this at home special tools req etc
