how do i fix my daf. 45?

gear stick is floppy all over the place and it's just pot luck you i get a gear

When i turn the key the buzzer for the air breaks sounds but there is nothing else the engine wont turn over at all. its like the battery's are flat but i have charged them and the isolater switch is working! what else could it be??
